Why Do We Love This?
Located in the village of Cleyrac, 20 km away from the Saint-Emilion appellation, on one of the highest plateau of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, Château de Courteillac enjoys an exceptional terroir. The soil is made of clay and limestone over a limestone base, which is the same type of soil than the one of the Saint-Emilion plateau.
Château De Courteillac 2017 seduces us with a beautiful deep ruby colour with purple reflections. It is a harmonious wine with a fruity and spicy nose with aromas of red fruits, blueberries and vanilla. In the mouth, the wine is rich and balanced with notes of red fruit jam and mocha. The tannins are ripe and bring a nice finish.
