Taste
Deep crimson.
Intense, very expressive, dominated by fresh fruit aromas (red currant, raspberry) blended with discreet notes of oak.
Structured, round and easy, nicely oaked on the palate, with firm but silky tannins and a long, fresh and fruity finish.
Why Do We Love This?
Designed as everyday wines, Saga Bordeaux Rouge is made from traditional Bordeaux grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The proportions vary with each vintage but, nature permitting, Cabernet Sauvignon is almost always the predominant variety, bringing the finesse and structure that represent the “house” style. Suitable vinification and ageing bring charm and suppleness while preserving complexity.
