Taste
Vibrant purple with garnet hue.
Complex and lifted aromas of blackberry, plum, mulberry, chocolate and vanillin spice, with hints of liquorice, mint and thyme.
Vibrant and dense palate of sweet dark fruit, dark chocolate, liquorice and subtle oak spice. The palate is even, textured and long with an abundance of silky tannins.

History shows that Thomas Hardy first blended grapes from multiple regions in 1865. Thomas believed that blending grapes with different characteristics would complement and enhance the qualities of each region. So began Hardy’s rich blending heritage; with each new blend a unique code was created starting from A001.
