Why Do We Love This?

The Valle La Puerta , La Rioja -Vineyard was established in 1994. The property sits between the Farmatina (20,340 ft) and Velasco (13,800 ft) Mountain ranges, which are part of the impressive Andes Mountains.

This unique valley offers a magnificent visual backdrop and provides well drained top soils and magnificient water. Also, a special microclimate that is warm year round, with hot and dry summer days and more importantly, cool nights, combines with the clean air and desert-like topography of the valley to ensure outstanding ripening conditions for grapes and olives. The winery was built in 2002 and is one of the most modern and technologically advanced wineries of its type in Argentina.
