Why Do We Love This?
One of China’s brightest young talents, and a graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins college of art and design in London, fashion designer Angel Chen has developed a bold and colourful signature style which mixes traditional Chinese motifs with modern Western aesthetics, reflecting her cosmopolitan background. Her design for Martell VSOP Aged in Red Barrels features dynamic patterns of wood and flames to evoke the specific ageing process which produces this elegant, balanced cognac. The opulent palette of red and gold references both the red barrels and Chinese cultural heritage.
