The Singleton of Dufftown 25 Year Old
Originating from the Speyside region, The Singleton of Dufftown is rounded, rich and sweet in nature with a hint of spiciness. It possesses exceptional smoothness, using a combination of American and European oak casks that evoke in some expressions nuttier, serial notes of this Speysider.
The 25 Year Old doesn’t stray too far away from the flavours in the 21 Year Old, however the additional four years of maturation results in a light orange gold colour and much more tropical fruit scent on the nose, while staying smooth and round. A longer finish is due to the much spicier, slightly hotter sensation on the palate with less stewed fruits and more tropical fruits such as apples, pears, passionfruit and even a hint of pineapple.
